A website about antique weapons

Information presented here on gunsmiths, their history arms and details for identification, is far from exhaustive and may be modified at any time. I very much welcome comments, additions and corrections.
I hope to be able to complement already well know encyclopædic works like "der Neue Stöckel" and "Le Qui est qui de l'arme en France", which are the two works I most frequently consult.  They have been compiled during times when online search and digitizing of old archives and books was not available, so new information regularly comes to the surface.
